Happy Retirement to
Tom Donnellan

Mr. Tom Donnellan former Deputy Principal, retired at the end of August 2010 after many dedicated years of teaching, the most recent being in the learning support and resource area.

Being one of the first staff members, Tom played a great role in the development of the whole school, from accumulating teaching resources to promoting a positive, friendly, respectful ethos. He always had a project in hand which engaged both pupis and teachers, the most recent being our school's 25th anniversary celebrations. These projects were many and varied, gardening groups, cookery groups, updating the school website and planning school social events. Our beautiful school gardens are testament to Tom's great work. Tom's humanity and his compassionate teaching touched and enriched the lives of many pupils and teachers.

The Board of Management and all the staff of Holy Family S.N.S. wish Tom many years of healthy and happy retirement.
