It was terrific news to discover this email message from the Service Culturel francais one morning in March:

"I am very happy to announce to you that the team "B" hit the 1st place in the Francophonie on-line contest.
This team (Makenzie Fitzsimmons, Olivia Sheridan, Paul Whelan, Elizaveta Petkus, Sean Coyle, Sinead McCrohan, Sophie Molloy, Mathew Ng) along with yourself are thus invited to our award ceremony on Wednesday, 23rd March from 2.00pm to 5.00pm at the Irish Film Institute, 6 Eustace Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. For a special screening followed by a French luncheon!"

Modern Language Programme

Our school is very lucky to be involved in the Modern Language Programme. The children in 5th and 6th classes have been learning French with Madame Cathy since 2003.
