Last Christmas Mr. Duffy's class did a production of Christmas at JC's by Evlyn Walsh. The play was about Maria and Josef, a Polish couple who move to Ireland at Christmas time. When their accommodation falls through they switch to their last resort- staying in the store room of JC's Supermarket where Maria's brother is employed.

The play puts a modern twist on the traditional nativity scene. It also the fact that no matter what your situation is or where you are, Christmas is a special time for all.

The stars of the play were Ella Mooney, Ciara O'Reilly, Jack Kane, Daniel Deegan and Vanilla Nwojo. The play was performed four times. The audiences at all four performances received the play well.
